Day 50 (continued 1) As they prepare to sleep, Rolberk thinks he hears someone talking nearby. The companions investigate. They find the body of two dead orcs but as they approach the bodies rise. They are orc skeletons raised by a Blood Demon who lured them into his trap! The fight lasted three rounds. Rolberk and Kerry were both Scared and Dazed by the demon’s attacks. Eldina used her sling to injure the Blood Demon but it was resistant to normal damage (1/2 damage). Vordhan’s two fireballs forced the demon to flee but Lefyr managed to kill it as it tried to fly away. The foul creature had no treasure. The rest of the night was uneventful. Day 51 Refreshed and healed, the companions resume their trek toward the haunted keep. Lefyr leads the way expertly. By midday, the keep is two hundred meters in front of them. Half the structure has crumbled. The wood floors and roof have rotted away. The wall surrounding the keep is in relatively good shape. Hidden in the forest, the companions
